Moonlighter 2 Endless Vault

The Moonlighter 2 Endless Vault is an ancient artifact in Tresna that sets gold-earning challenges to unlock town, shop, and gear upgrades. Wishing Well is awarded for meeting it. The glowing cube sits in the plaza, not in a HUD overlay. Achievements name seven numbered trials: Novice, Trainee, Average, Expert, Chosen, Legendary, and Golden Merchant. EA Update #7 notes Vault V and VI arrived during Early Access. Version 1.0 adds Infinite Endless Vault — post-story single-run gold thresholds that reset that threshold on failure — and Hardcore, which restarts the journey if you die in a dungeon. Exact gold thresholds for 1.0 challenges are not in first-party notes. Seven numbered merchant trials, then Infinite Endless Vault and Hardcore as 1.0 modes. The cube is a plaza object. Gold thresholds for 1.0 trials are unpublished here on purpose. Numbered merchant trials fund town and gear. Infinite Endless Vault is post-story. Hardcore is a death-restart mode. Keep those three jobs on separate details rows so 1.0 copy does not collapse into a single gold bar. The plaza still is the cube; the announcement poster is the film identity bound to this route. Wishing Well is the first meeting. Novice through Golden Merchant are the seven numbered trials. Infinite and Hardcore are the two 1.0 modes that sit beside those trials instead of replacing them. Plaza cube, seven trials, two 1.0 modes.

Plaza cube, not a HUD bar

Steam store copy frames the Endless Vault as the path to reclaim Will’s homeland after Moloch, the interdimensional collector, claimed it. The plaza is the scoring street: shop, gate, cube, then vendors. Players who skip the cube and only decorate the shop still hit shop-level stamps, but they miss the numbered merchant trials that unlock town and gear upgrades. Treat the cube as a second register that charges gold instead of pricing relics. The cube still is a plaza object with a glow, customers, and village geometry around it. Wishing Well is the first meeting. Wrong Home is meeting Moloch. Those two stamps sit on the same street as the shop. Do not render the vault as a fake gold bar in the page chrome; the attested gold numbers on this wiki are shop tags, not vault HUD. Community TechRaptor EA unlock costs remain observed and are not copied here as 1.0 thresholds. Wishing Well and Wrong Home share the street with the shop. Moloch is the collector; the cube is the gold-trial path. Neither is a HUD widget. Gold numbers on this wiki remain shop tags; the cube charges trials, it does not print a second price list.

Seven numbered trials plus two 1.0 modes

Open the nine sealed records as details, not as a flattened paragraph. Challenges 1–7 map to Novice, Trainee, Average, Expert, Chosen, Legendary, and Golden Merchant. Challenge 6 carries the EA Update #7 note that Vault V and VI arrived during Early Access, so do not describe Legendary Merchant as a 1.0 exclusive. Infinite Endless Vault is a postgame type with a reset-on-fail rule. Hardcore is a mode type with a dungeon-death restart rule. Keep those two 1.0 rows labeled current. The announcement-trailer thumbnail on this route is the 11 bit studios poster bound to the vault identity unit; the launch film itself stays on home and release. Open all nine details. Challenges 1–7 keep their achievement names. Infinite resets a failed threshold. Hardcore restarts the journey. That is the disclosure contract.

Infinite Endless Vault

1.0 postgame: single-run gold thresholds after the main story. Failing a threshold resets that threshold.

How the cube sits next to the shop

Pay the plaza after a Perfect shift, not instead of one. Shop Level 5, Bomb Path, and Endless Weapon Aspects are 1.0 systems that the vault’s gold trials are meant to fund, according to launch notes that list them together. They are not vault rooms. If you are chasing Sold Out!, Golden Merchant is the seventh trial and The Moonlighter is max shop level — two different desks. Hardcore is a run modifier, not trial 8. Infinite Endless Vault is post-story, not a replacement for challenges 1–7. Use the release timeline when you need the 2 September 2026 date, and use the achievements wall when you need the icons that match each merchant stamp. Pay the cube after a Perfect shift. Shop Level 5, Bomb Path, and Endless aspects are funded systems listed in 1.0 notes, not vault rooms you enter from the cube menu.
